People and Best Schools in Prince William County

by Teej
(Colorado Springs, CO)

When did Prince William County come about? It's named after the British son of Princess Diana, correct?

What are the type of nationalities there? Is it mixed? We'd like to raise our children in an openly mixed raced area.

Is this possible here in Prince William County?

And yes, what is the best school for elementary, private, Montessouri? Thank you!! Hope you can answer.

Prince William County People and
by: Mo

Hi Teej, thanks for the question.

No, Prince William County, Virginia was formed in 1730 and named after the second son of King George II of England. So, way before Princess Di.

The County is certainly mixed culturally with people of a caucasion ethnicity, african-americans, hispanics and others.

As for schools, well, I have personal opinions about the schools my kids go to (happy with them). But, maybe someone else can talk about your question about Prince William County Montessouri schools. I'm not sure about that.

You should come on over and check us out. I used to live in Colo Springs by the way. Beautiful city.
