Before writing this page I did a bit of research to find out what people are searching for when it comes to real estate in Prince William County, Virginia. Here are some of the top terms people search for:

What they all have in common is the need for a good realtor to assist with the home-buying process. I'm not a realtor and frankly have had some bad experiences with some in the past. But, I've had good experiences as well. So, like with everything, there are good realtors and bad ones.


If you are thinking of moving to Prince William County, Virginia, or already live in Prince William Co. and are looking to relocate, you are going to need a good Realtor. Whether you are looking for a buyers agent or a sellers agent, you want a Realtor who has your best interest at heart. And it goes without saying that you will want a board certified Realtor who has moved many properties and has many satisfied clients.


A good Realtor will have a lot of referrals from people who will gladly give their testimonial to the efficiency and integrity of their real estate agent. You will be looking for a Realtor who is friendly, honest and trustworthy, and will abide by all the laws, rules and regulations of the Real Estate Commission.


You may want a Realtor who works for a franchise such as; Century 21, Remax, or United Country. Or you may choose to go with an independent Realtor. Either way you want a Realtor with years of experience, who is a trusted member of the Prince William County community.


Are you looking for a Realtor who specializes in residential properties, or do you have dreams of opening your own business? If so, you will need a Realtor who deals with commercial properties.


What is your price range? Some Realtors carry only high priced listings, while others take listings in any price range. Are you looking for a house in a specific town or city in Prince William County such as; Dumfries, Occoquan, Gainesville, Quantico, Manassas, Montclair, Woodbridge, or Dale City? If so, you should look for a Realtor with his or her office in that town, or who has a lot of listings there.


The three most important things in real estate are location, location, location, as any Realtor will quickly tell you. But, the thing is what might be a good location for one person might not be for another. It depends on what you want or need. (For me it was Montclair).


Do you need good schools for your kids; recreational facilities, are you commuting to DC? etc.
