Prince William County to Washington DC Trip

Most of us make a Prince William County to Washington DC Trip from time to time. Heck, I work at the Pentagon, so I make the trip nearly every day. You can read more about my commute at prince william county commute.

But, on this page, we are talking about a fun trip to see the sights. Maybe the cherry blossoms in April; a Washington Nationals baseball game; the National Christmas Tree; or, one of the innumerable museums, monuments, White House, Capitol, etc, etc.

There is so much to see and do in DC, that if you live in PWC you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't take advantage of it. It's one of the great advantages to living here. And, most of it is free!

The first issue, of course, is how to get there. I definitely recommend public transportation if possible. Take a PRTC bus to a metro station or all the way into DC. From a metro station you can easily ride into DC without the hassles of driving and parking.

Here's a couple good websites for more info: PRTC and Metrorail.

OK, that's it for now. Next time I'll update this page with a story about our latest trip from Prince William County to Washington D.C.

In the meantime, we'd love to read your stories and experiences if you could post them below. Thanks.
