Prince William County 7th Most Affluent in USA

by Mo Johnson
(Montclair)

The latest census numbers (2012) show that Prince William County is the 7th most affluent county in America with a median household income of $91,098.

In fact, 7 of the top 10 were in the DC Metro area. Loudoun county ranked #1 again, with a median household income of $119,000. Next was Fairfax at $106k; then Arlington at $101k. But Arlington has many more single households so per person it may be the richest.

Others in the top 10 included Howard and Montgomery in Maryland and Fauquier in Virginia.
