What is the largerst city / town in Price William County?

Question:

What is the largest city / town in Price William County, VA?

Answer:

Interesting question. I think it comes down to one of two cities/towns -- Manassas or Woodbridge.

The 2000 census Manassas had 35,135 but the City of Manassas is an independent city and not technically part of Prince William County. Now, there is a 38 acre area in the middle of Manassas is that the county seat for PWC. But, that 38 acre is NOT part of the city of manassas. crazy.

So, that means that Woodbridge has the largest population of any city or town in the county. According to the 2000 census, Woodbridge had 31,941 people in it.

But, much has happened in 10 years since the last census. The western part of the county is growing rapidly. So, it will be interesting to see who is #1 after that census. Gainesville? I doubt it, but we'll see.
