Woodbridge Author Makes Good

Woodbridge resident Nancy Kyme has published her first book, Memory Lake: The Forever Friendships of Summer, Vantage Point (July 1, 2011), $15.95, ISBN-10: 1936467054. Available in bookstores and Amazon.com.

Nancy tells us that she has lived in the Westridge section of Woodbridge for 18 years. She says she "arrived in 1992 for my husband's 3 year military tour. We fell in love with the area and contrived to stay. Our kids are now adults and my husband is retired. The idea for a book about camp's influence on my adult life had been percolating when the kids were young. When they left for college, I found time to complete it. Vantage Point Books offered me a contract last year.

A book signing for Memory Lake is scheduled for Saturday, August 27th at Barnes & Noble at 8117 Sudley Road, at the Westgate Plaza from 1-3:00.
