Directions to Chinn Park Regional Library

Southbound on I-95:

  • Take Exit 160 (123 North; Occoquan, Lake Ridge) from I-95.
    • As you come off the exit lane, get into one of the left lanes.
    • Turn left at the second light onto 641 (Old Bridge Road).
    • Continue on Old Bridge Road for a little more than 5 miles. You will go through approximately 15 stop lights (the last of which is at Touchstone Circle/Titania Way). Turn left onto Troupe Street across from the Glen Shopping Center (Safeway is located in this shopping center).
    • The library is the building on your right at the end of Troupe Street.

  • Take Exit 158 (Prince William Parkway) from I-95.

    • Proceed on the Parkway for 4.5 miles and turn right onto Chinn Park Drive. There is a sign for Chinn Regional Park (Chinn Aquatics And Fitness Center and the Chinn Park Regional Library at that intersection.
    • Turn right into the parking lot. The Library is the building to the right.

Northbound on I-95:

  • Take Exit 156 (Dale City - 784 West) from I-95.
  • When you come off the ramp you will be on Dale Boulevard. Continue on Dale Boulevard for about 4 miles to Hillendale Road. Turn right onto Hillendale and proceed about .9 miles to the traffic light.
  • Turn left at the traffic light onto Prince William Parkway.
  • Make the first right onto Chinn Park Drive.
  • Take the first right into the complex and immediately turn right again for the library parking lot.

From Route 1 area:

  • Take Opitz Blvd., west past Potomac Mills. Opitz Blvd. becomes Smoketown Road past Potomac Mills.
  • Turn left onto Minnieville Road. Proceed on Minnieville Road.
  • Turn right onto the Prince William Parkway.
  • Proceed on the Parkway for 4.5 miles and turn right onto Chinn Park Drive. There is a sign for Chinn Regional Park (Chinn Aquatics And Fitness Center and the Chinn Park Regional Library at that intersection.
  • Turn right into the parking lot. The Library is the building to the right.

From Manassas Area:

  • At the intersection of Prince William Parkway, Richmond and Liberia Avenues, enter the Parkway toward Woodbridge.
  • Follow the Parkway for about 8.6 miles to the intersection of the Parkway and Old Bridge Road. Continue straight on Old Bridge Road for .1 of a mile to Troupe Street. Turn right onto Troupe Street.
  • Continue straight into the parking lots.
  • The library is the building on your right at the end of Troupe Street.

Monday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Friday - Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 12:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m.

About Chinn Park Regional Library:

The first regional library to be built in Prince William County, Chinn Park is located in the 98-acre Chinn Regional Park at the intersection of the Prince William Parkway and Old Bridge Road. Chinn Park Regional Library were named for Mary Jane Chinn and her family for their contributions to the Prince William County community.

The Chinn Park Regional Library is 25,000 square feet and contains 211,347 volumes. The library ceiling is 28 feet high in the middle and features a dramatic clerestory window.

Services include children’s and young adult material and programs, adult material and programs, a Quiet Study room, two individual study rooms, a prominent Information Desk, a shop run by the Friends of the Library and a special service, MAGIC.
